Building a Smarter, More Scalable Digital Presence for Atos Medical

Our ongoing collaboration with Atos Medical, a global leader in products for tracheostomy and laryngectomy care, is a great example of how tailored digital solutions can streamline internal workflows, improve customer experience, and support long-term growth across multiple markets.
A Global Platform Built for Local Needs
In 2022 and 2023, Atos Medical set out to unify their digital presence across 23 local websites and a central .com domain. The new platform needed to strike a delicate balance: flexible enough to meet each market’s unique demands, yet familiar and intuitive for editors across the organisation.

Performance, scalability, and ease of integration were key. Editors needed to manage everything from the company website to existing apps, and healthcare professionals required secure logins to access exclusive content. Meanwhile, backend operations needed to support future expansion, including CRM, Marketing Automation, and PIM systems.
The result is a headless WordPress solution hosted in Azure, combining strong security with integration-ready architecture. Built using Gutenberg along with custom modules, the system gives local editors full control while maintaining design consistency. To support the global rollout, we also provided training sessions and step-by-step manuals, including instructional videos to make onboarding as smooth as possible.
Automation That Saves Time – and Focuses Efforts Where They Matter
To support editors in their day-to-day work, we developed an automated workflow that simplifies the creation of new pages across languages and markets.
In phase one, we built a cloning feature in WordPress that lets editors generate an exact copy of any page from the main site—layout and all—using only a URL. This drastically reduces time spent on manual copying and pasting, and eliminates formatting errors that often occur when working between systems.
Phase two introduced AI-powered translation. With a simple checkbox, editors can trigger automated translation tailored to the local site’s language. The system intelligently preserves or flags non-translatable elements like hyperlinks, helping editors refine only where needed—freeing up time to fine-tune tone and language for the local audience.
Launching a New Website and E-commerce Platform for Atos Care
Atos Care, a branch of Atos Medical focused on patient support, turned to us for a full rebuild of their website—including a fully integrated webshop. The goal: create a seamless, secure, and accessible digital environment that serves both patients and healthcare providers.
Key priorities included:
- A modern webshop with intuitive product filtering
- Clear, responsive design that works just as well on mobile as desktop
- Self-service tools like personalised product suggestions and account management
- A robust CMS to give the Atos Care team full control over content updates
- Compliance with the highest standards of security and GDPR
Together, we built a clean, easy-to-navigate site with streamlined paths to both information and products. Mobile-first design has boosted traffic and conversions from mobile users, while smart CMS integration allows Atos Care to keep content fresh without external support.
